Positions Now Hiring
Exceptional Entry Officer
- Academy certification but less than two years experience.
- Candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus.
- Up to $7,500 in moving expenses reimbursed for relocating from out-of-state.
Lateral Officer
- Candidates may be eligible for a $16,000 signing bonus.
- Up to $7,500 in moving expenses reimbursed for relocating from out-of-state.
- Starting pay is as high as $10,229/month or $122,755/year, PLUS incentives and numerous overtime opportunities.
Police Support Officer (PSO)
- Provide support to the Police Department in the areas of prisoner transport, taking crime reports, calls for assistance of a non-criminal nature, and other activities which do not require a fully commissioned officer.
- PSO are uniformed, unarmed and partially commissioned to exercise physical restraint, assist with warrant service, and issue parking citations.
Support Specialists
- Phone and in-person contact with community members to provide services to include fingerprinting, concealed pistol license application processing, cash handling, and receiving requests for disclosure of records held in police.
- Phone and in-person contact with internal customers to include officers, detectives, and other commissioned and limited commissioned staff.
- Process criminal history backgrounds, access a large variety of inter-departmental and state/federal systems following strict guidelines
- Management/processing/administration of a variety of police records to include protection orders, misdemeanor warrants, police case reports and supplemental documentation.
Court Liaison Administrators
- Process and track all misdemeanor and felony cases filed with the City of Bellevue Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (COB PA) and King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (KCPAO)
- List ItemPrepare and process misdemeanor and felony filings for the COB PA and KCPAO; running criminal history and gathering case and supplemental reports.
- Handle disposition research; record and track subpoenas for officers to appear in court

Public Disclosure Specialists
- Process all public disclosure requests for all records in the custody of Bellevue Police in accordance to state and federal laws. Records include but are not limited to case reports, incident reports, photos, and video.
- Phone and in-person contact with community members to provide assistance with their public disclosure request.
- Options for WFH after training is completed.
Data Quality Specialist
- Process all data entry related to police reports for the department; includes scanning documentation to case file and working closely with Police Support Specialists and department Data Analysts.
- Handles all case review for accurate reporting of data, working close with data analysts for compliance with local, state, and federal reporting standards (e.g.: NIBRS).
- Options for WFH after training is completed.

NORCOM 911 is a consolidate 9-1-1 communications center serving nearly 600,000 residents in King and Snohomish Counties, as well as 8 police departments and 14 fire departments. Our cross trained Telecommunicators are responsible for answering 911 calls and coordinating responses of police, fire and EMS resources across much of Northern King County.
Requirements and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Ability to type at least 35 wpm
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Team player with positive attitude
- Ability to pass comprehensive background investigation, polygraph test, and psychological exam
