Exceptional Entry Officer
- Academy certification but less than two years experience.
- Candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 signing bonus.

Lateral Officer

Police Administrative Services Manager
- Ability to plan, direct, and effectively supervise the work of professional, technical, and support staff; develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within and outside of the department.
- Prepare effective correspondence and reports; and communicate effectively verbally and in sensitive interpersonal situations.
- Lead personnel to accomplish goals and objectives. Engage in activities that build trust from subordinates.
- Provide leadership, counsel, motivation, and constructive performance reviews to staff, securing their respective commitments to the department’s goals.
- Solve problems and be solutions orientated through city wide, cross departmental collaboration to problem solving, and write and communicate action plans.
- Develop and recommend policies, procedures, and budgets to meet division objectives and the overall goals of the department.
- Prioritize, monitor, and evaluate the work of staff. Organize and oversee work schedules and legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with individuals and groups regarding complex or controversial issues or regulations.
Police Support Specialist
- Phone and in-person contact with community members to provide services to include fingerprinting, concealed pistol license application processing, cash handling, and receiving requests for disclosure of records held in police.
- Phone and in-person contact with internal customers to include officers, detectives, and other commissioned and limited commissioned staff.
- Process criminal history backgrounds, access a large variety of inter-departmental and state/federal systems following strict guidelines
- Management/processing/administration of a variety of police records to include protection orders, misdemeanor warrants, police case reports and supplemental documentation.
Victim Advocate
- Provide domestic violence advocacy services throughout the prosecution process, including crisis intervention and safety planning.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement, prosecutors, legal professionals, and community organizations.
- Serve as a liaison between victims, law enforcement, prosecution, other agencies, and community resources, facilitating clear communication and support.
- Educate and assist domestic violence survivors and their families through the criminal justice process.
- Regularly reviews police reports on domestic violence to evaluate advocacy needs.
- Work with prosecutors to prepare cases, track case status, and maintain case records.
- Gather, compile, and report statistical information.
Police Forensic Examiner
- Locates, visualizes, collect, recovers, and preserves forensic evidence.
- Analyzes and compares latent prints to include identifications and exclusions.
- Responds to major crime scenes to provide guidance, advice, and assistance in the collection of forensic evidence.
- Prepares for and conducts AFIS searches of latent prints and maintains storage of latent prints in the databases.
- Conducts training in proper AFIS operating procedures, applications, and best practices.
- Prepares, acquires, and launches searches via the Integrated Ballistic Identification System (IBIS) for entry into the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN).
- Maintains equipment and supplies in crime scene vehicles; operates vehicle and contents as a crime scene facility.
- Maintains equipment and supplies in the laboratory; operates all equipment to manufacture’s specifications, provides maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Ensures equipment is always fully operable and identified the need for new and/or improved equipment and supplies.

Court Liaison Administrators
- Process and track all misdemeanor and felony cases filed with the City of Bellevue Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (COB PA) and King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (KCPAO)
- List ItemPrepare and process misdemeanor and felony filings for the COB PA and KCPAO; running criminal history and gathering case and supplemental reports.
- Handle disposition research; record and track subpoenas for officers to appear in court

Public Disclosure Specialists
- Process all public disclosure requests for all records in the custody of Bellevue Police in accordance to state and federal laws. Records include but are not limited to case reports, incident reports, photos, and video.
- Phone and in-person contact with community members to provide assistance with their public disclosure request.

Administrative Services Manager
Work is performed with considerable independence within the framework of departmental policies under general direction of the Police Chief and the Administrative Services Division Assistant Chief. The Administrative Services Manager oversees the business processes of the Records and Property and Evidence Units, evaluating work performed and providing supervisors with instruction and advice as necessary. This position ensures efficient operations of the Records and Property and Evidence Units.
Data Quality Specialist
- Process all data entry related to police reports for the department; includes scanning documentation to case file and working closely with Police Support Specialists and department Data Analysts.
- Handles all case review for accurate reporting of data, working close with data analysts for compliance with local, state, and federal reporting standards (e.g.: NIBRS).

NORCOM 911 is a consolidate 9-1-1 communications center serving nearly 600,000 residents in King and Snohomish Counties, as well as 8 police departments and 14 fire departments. Our cross trained Telecommunicators are responsible for answering 911 calls and coordinating responses of police, fire and EMS resources across much of Northern King County.
Requirements and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Ability to type at least 35 wpm
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays
- Team player with positive attitude
- Ability to pass comprehensive background investigation, polygraph test, and psychological exam
